Andy J. Williford (Sign Guestbook)

Andy Joe Williford, age 75 of Knoxville, TN, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017. Joe was a member of Black Oak Ridge Baptist Church. He delivered milk and ice cream throughout the East Tennessee area for over 48 years. Joe was a big Tennessee Vol fan and an avid gardener who enjoyed giving gardening advice to everyone he met. He was preceded in death by parents, Jack and Hazel Williford; brother, Arlie Williford. He is survived by loving wife of 55 years, Patsy Williford; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Jane Williford; the light of his life, granddaughter Hila Catherine Williford; brothers, Jack Jr. and Ben Williford; and sister, Kathryn Davis. The family would like to express thanks to Dr. Saji Eapen and Tiffany Sipe of Tennessee Cancer Specialists for their exceptional care over the past few months. The family will receive friends at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel, 5301 Fountain Road, Knoxville, TN 37918, from 6-7pm on Thursday, September 14th. The Memorial Service will follow at 7 pm, with Rev. Gary Capps and Rev. Ross Williford officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Remote Area Medical or Young-Williams Animal Center.
